There is nothing like CWS. Not just an incredible concept telling the stories of characters who never came to be, but in depth breakdowns of the character creation process, system analysis, and how much of a person winds up in the people we play. Star is an incredible navigator of the heart and is worthy of every second of time her show demands

As a person who really loves character driven stories and table top role playing games. This show gives a wonderful peak into the mind of how people build characters, and not just mechanically. No, Star asks questions that give insight into what makes them and what defines them. Allowing these character that would not receive a the full life of being able to play in the games they were meant for a chance to shine and show what they were made of. Giving people a chance to show the thought time and life they put towards these characters and these games. Sometimes even beyond what they had been thinking.

Star’s podcast of featuring these unplayed characters is fantastic. It gives GMs a chance to dive deeper into the characters they’ve cared so deeply about, and gives them a voice. It’s cozy, it’s fun, and every episode is as enjoyable as the last. I absolutely love this podcast.

What a unique show! Every episode is an original perspective. A definite must listen for anyone in the ttrpg community

Loving these stories so far. Audio quality is top notch, and Star sounds like she should be working at NPR. Looking forward to more.
